The new edition of norms covers various addition and upward revisions to the earlier norms to meet the current requirement of the industry. The publication is organised into three sections: - Norms for Spinning Quality and waste, Norms for Productivity and General norms.
The major addition in “Quality norms” section includes norms for fly liberation in knitting, optimum setting in draw frame based on AFIS length data. Floating condensers and spacers in fly frames for different roving hanks. Apart from above Apart from above, revision has been made to yarn quality attributes like CSP, hairiness and yarn Faults.
In the norms for Productivity more than half the tables have been revised to cover modern machinery.
In the General Norms seven tables have been added and most of them are concerned with energy consumption aspect. |
